The Future of Asian American Cooking in Washington, D.C.

The District has always boasted a rich culinary history that reflects the diverse flavors of the Asian diaspora. Veteran restaurants like Rasika and Sushi Taro laid the foundation for businesses that continue to challenge the way one thinks about Asian cooking. While we will miss groundbreaking spots like Bad Saint and Thamee, standard bearers like cocktail bar Copycat and new places like Any Day Now will continue to capture our hearts and push the envelope of what it means to eat Asian in America.
